We host stellar collections at the Chinati and Judd Foundations, and Ballroom Marfa. Marfa's many galleries right in town invite you on a walking tour.

    McDonald Observatory

As a unit of The University of Texas at Austin, the Observatory is one of the world's leading centers for astronomical research. Its facilities are located atop Mount Locke and Mount Fowlkes in the Davis Mountains of West Texas.

    Fort Davis National Historic Site

Fort Davis is one of the best surviving examples of an Indian Wars' frontier military post in the Southwest.

    Big Bend Ranch State Park

The largest state park in Texas, featuring Chihuahuan desert wilderness in a remarkably rugged, remote and unpopulated setting.

    Big Bend National Park

An hour’s drive can take you from the banks of the Rio Grande to a mountain basin nearly a mile high. Here, you can explore one of the last remaining wild corners of the United States, and experience unmatched sights, sounds, and solitude
